Description

I have got this message two days in a row from nightly tests on octopus,
octagon, and smash. I do have a ~/.smpd. It has been there for a long time.
Don't know what has changed to trigger this message.

Rajeev

 My guess is the ".smpd" configuration file is corrupted due to dynamic
hosts. Before starting smpd or running mpiexec try setting the evironment
variable SMPD_OPTION_NO_DYNAMIC_HOSTS to 1.

(PS: The ".smpd" config file should just contain the passphrase line,
"phrase=YOUR_PASSPHRASE")

Regards,
Jayesh

Yes, you are right. The .smpd file was overwritten. How did that happen? Is
it a new feature? What is this environment variable for?

Rajeev

The tests run on one machine only. So there are no dynamic hosts.
